What are sources of information? We can name newspapers, books, magazines, the internet, television and radio as the main sources of information. Access to all these in order to gather knowledge is very important to move with the developing world. 

In the past, newspapers, books, magazines and radio were used as common sources of information. With the development of the world, television and the internet come into use surpassing all the others. Now the internet has become the fastest and most effective source of information. 

When using books, newspapers or magazines, either we have to buy them or go to the library to use them. In a way using a library is less expensive than others. You can have access to many fields and sections as time permits you. Radio and television provide us information while giving us entertainment. All those things can be done through the internet. Using the internet, we can get news, read newspapers, books and magazines. We also can send and receive messages etc. So it has become the most effective source of information in the present world. Therefore it helps the world to move forward very fast in the process of development. 

However, wasting time, addiction, loss of healthy human relationships can be mentioned as some of the disadvantages, especially in these modern mass media. 

It’s true, there are advantages and disadvantages in all those sources. As intelligent users, it’s our duty to use them in such a way as to maximize the advantages and minimize the disadvantages.
